| so I was going to go for something deep for my return entry to xanga...but you'll have to settle for my babble.
In efforts to try to better connect with my coworkers I'm contemplating
learning more about football. Unfortunate it's not one of my
strong points...below, no joke, is a compilation of the knowledge that
I have gathered from friends throughout the past few years:
- You have to make at least 10 yards with each down (i think)
- Chad Pennington was a QB for the Jets and was supposedly pretty good.
- Unfortunately, Chad got hurt a lot
- U Mich's team is the #6 college team according to the Wall Street
Journal (only #6???? ^_^ i can see myself getting hurt by someone for
that)
- LSU and Florida State have pretty good teams.
- And my crowning bit of knowledge...imparted by my old carpool buddies
--- Ohio and Mich do NOT get along (or something like that).
Please feel free to add to my knowledge....
Other babblings...
-the TV show "Who wants to be a superhero" is so funny! I can't
help but think "hey! i know people that would fit in perfectly in this
show!" (again...i can see someone wanting to hurt me for that)
-i'm coming to terms with the fact that my "baby" cousins are not
really babies anymore...i think that they're like 13 and 11 now....but
they used to be so small :-/ What's happen!?!
-I missed the Jars of Clay concert in the beginning of the month..
bummed by that..they're one of my favorite groups...however, i think
that audio adren. might be playing here soon. Anyone wanna go
see? Russell Peters is coming in Nov too. Any takers????
-Happy Very Belated B-day to Boidy (if Boidy ever stumbles across
this) I know that it's almost a solid month late...*sigh*

| So I
was actually going to try to post something deep and meaningful, but
found this old post of a convo i had with my sifu and gah gege (second
brother) instead:
sifu: i love you both equally sifu: there me: i want to be loved more! sifu: SIFU can't love you anymore because it's already at the highest it can go me: really??? sifu: yep
gege: there is no favoritism here gege: i hate everybody equally
Awww makes me
fell nostalgic of the good old days...Last summer our intern told me
that "I was the most sentimental person that's [he's] ever
known". I guess that I am very sentimental (or very clingy at the
least), not that I'm always good at keeping in touch with people
(because I'm not) but I still of of them and care about them.
okee! going to stop before i get 1) overly sappy and start grossing everyone out or 2) get really really cynical

| sweets today:
1/2 of a giant cookie
6 pieces of chocolate
1 sour belt
1 gummy
2 peeps
2 cupcakes
The partner brought in candy when I wasn't in last week so one of my
coworkers saved me some. But then it turned out that the
partner saved me some too! Another one of my coworkers brought in
cupcakes and peeps and another one gave me a yummy mango gummy. I
felt much loved. :)
other highlights of the day...(the day started with two plates of
cupcakes, two packages of peeps and a plate of candy on my desk)
me: *sticking a peep in my mouth after eating a cupcake*
coworker 1: [you've already had so much candy!] <Squirrelgirl>, give me! *sticks out hand*
me: *wide eyed...shakes head and sticks peep in my mouth*
a little while later.....
me: *eating cupcake*
coworker 1: *stands up from cube and looks at me* <Squirrelgirl>, NO!
me: *takes a bite out of cupcake*
coworker 1: That's it! I'm moving theses from you. *moves
cupcakes to another desk, moves peeps to another desk, points at my
plate of candy* Give me that!
me: *whining* No *covers plate protectively*
coworker 2: Oh look there's two cupcakes left...don't they look good?
coworker 1: She can't have any more!
me: I was thinking of licking the frosting off.
coworker 1: No!
coworker 3: Throw it away! I don't want anyone eating any more of them.

| "Suddenly I was transformed from a critical tourist to a devoted pilgrim filled with love, passion, and reverence for my Savior...and how did I make this transformation? By praying with one stronger in faith than me...I urge you...to pray with each other [this Holy Week] and let others be a strength to you and you to them...." - Palm Sunday Mass at St. Patrick'
it was an amazing sight to see so many people at St. Patrick's....
